This week, our friend, Mark Anderson will be speaking, he writes:

Today we continue our Lenten Series of Jesus' Seven Words spoken from the cross.  When the thief hanging beside Him, who knows both his own guilt and Jesus' innocence, asks to be remembered when Jesus comes into His Kingdom, Our Lord replies, "Truly, I tell you today that you will be with me in paradise."  Jesus is comforting and saving undeserving people to the end!  Our salvation does not depend on our being good--the thief is guilty!-- but rather on our being able to see His grace and receive His mercy.

Coldest Night

This year’s Coldest Night of the Year’ is taking place this Saturday February 24th, 2018!

Take the next step by:
1)
Registering to walk online
2)
Volunteering at the event or
3)
Sponsoring a ‘walker’.

There are so many members of the community we serve who would love to participate, but aren’t in the position to do so.

One $50 donation will cover the registration fees for two individuals—giving them the opportunity to walk with us, enjoy some live music and a meal following the ‘walkathon’.

The Mustard Seed is grateful for its role as local charity host to this nationwide event
